Globalization processes has enabled the linkage of the world economy, and competitiveness is the main driving force for all countries in the world. Croatia is presented as a small country, even true its potential is very large. In this context, there is a need to increase the competitiveness of Croatia and its recognizability in foreign markets. The experience of developed countries has shown that clusters are an efficient tool for strengthening the competitiveness of economic entities. The domestic economy is rather late in relation to other European countries. In 2005 the first Croatian clusters, were established such as the Cluster of North Adriatic Metals, the first Croatian Information Cluster, the Croatian Wood Cluster, the Tourist Cluster in Zagreb County. Croatia's bureaucracy has invested a lot of effort in strengthening the demoralized state and has launched various programs and initiatives to speed up this process. The clustering model should aim at raising the competitiveness of the entire industry, taking into account the growth of productivity, innovation and the creation of new businesses. There is still a lot of work to do in that direction. Some of the measures implemented did not apper most appropriate, as the Croatian export offensive. Further measures are still active and they will show their economic justification. Croatia and the Croatian economy should be optimistic because they have great potential, both natural and humane, and will certainly make further efforts in concretizing clusters in Croatia to give good results.
