Abstract
Završni rad iz kolegija "Upravljački informacijski sustavi" odnosi se na sustave potpore odlučivanju za poslovnu funkciju prodaje. Rad započinje pojašnjenjem prodajne funkcije i njenih zadatka, definiranjem odlučivanja, vrsta problema odlučivanja i pristup rješavanju strukturiranih, ne strukturiranih i semi-strukturiranih odluka. Zatim se prelazi na sustave potpore odlučivanju, njihovoj ulozi, opis vrsta i povijest razvoja tih sustava. Nadalje ukratko su definirane baze podataka, veći naglasak... More je na skladišta podataka gdje je opisana arhitektura, metode razvoja, modeliranje podataka, punjenje, te korištenje skladišta podataka. Krajnje je praktična izrada dimenzijske kocke, korištenjem skladišta podataka "ContosoSales", alata "CUBE-it Zero" za izradu kocke i Microsoft Excel 2010 s dodatkom Power Pivota za izvođenje operacija nad kockom i prikaz dobivenih rezultata. Abstract (english)
The final work from the "Management Information Systems" course refers to decision support systems for the sales function of a business. It begins with the explanation of the sales function and its tasks, defining decision-making, the types of decision-making problems, and approach solving of structured, non-structured and semi-structured decisions. Subsequent moves on to the decision support systems, their role, the description of types and the history of the development of these systems.... More Further databases are briefly defined, more emphasis is placed on data warehouses where architecture, development methods, data modeling, load, and use of data warehouses are described. Ending with the practical creation of dimensional cube using "ContosoSales" data warehouse, "CUBE-it Zero" tool for making the cube and Microsoft Excel 2010 with the add-on PowerPivot to run operations on the cube and displaying the obtained results.
