Abstract
Istraživanje turističkog tržišta podrazumijeva definiranje potreba, motiva i ponašanja turista kako bi se uočilo da li postoji i kolika je zapravo potražnja za proizvodima i uslugama hotelijerskog poduzeća. Sve dobivene informacije prilikom istraživanja pomažu ukupnom marketinškom poslovanju poduzeća, i to u razvoju i planiranju turističkog proizvoda, njegovoj prodaji i distribuciji te formiranju cijena i promociji, neovisno radi li se o domaćem ili inozemnom tržištu. Proces istraživanja tržišta sastoji se od šest faza. Dvije su osnovne vrste podataka koje se istraživanjem prikupljaju – primarni i sekundarni podaci. Njihova temeljna razlika je u načinu njihova prikupljanja. Za primarne podatke karakteristično je da se prikupljaju izravno od jedinica istraživanja, koje mogu biti jedna osoba (gost) , gospodarski subjekt (hotel) i slično. Istraživanja putem kojih se prikupljaju primarni podaci nazivaju se još i terenska istraživanja, a razlikujemo tri metode prikupljanja primarnih podataka: promatranje, ispitivanje i eksperiment. Kod poduzeća „Valamar Riviera“ d.d., istraživanje tržišta provodi se putem metode ispitivanja (tehnikom anketnog upitnika) i metodom promatranja (tehnikom tajnoga kupca).
Abstract (english)
Research of tourism market implies defining the needs, motivations and behavior of tourists to see if there is a real demand for tourism products and services. All the information obtained during the research helps the overall marketing activity of the tourist enterprise in the development and planning of the tourist product, its sale and distribution and the formation of prices and promotion, regardless of whether it is domestic or foreign. The market research process consists of six phases. There are two basic types of data - primary and secondary data. Their fundamental difference is in the way they are collected. For primary data it is charatistically to be collected directly from research units, which may be one person (guest), business entity (hotel), and other. Research by which primary data is collected is also field research, and we distinguish three methods of collecting primary data: observation, testing and experiment. In the case of „Valamar Riviera“ d.d., market research is carried out through the method of examination (questionnaire technique) and the observation method (secret customer technique).
