Abstract
Tema Diplomskog rada je «Strateško upravljanje turističkom destinacijom». Cilj diplomskog rada je istražiti, definirati i analizirati faze i korake kroz koje prolazi turistiĉka destinacija prilikom donošenja poslovnih odluka te uvidjeti na koji način donošenje poslovnih odluka funkcionira u praksi. Za primjer je odabran Master plan za razvoj turizma Istre za razdoblje od 2002. do 2010. godine. Rad se sastoji od 8 dijelova, pri čemu je glavna tematika rada obrađena od 2. do 5. poglavlja. Strateško upravljanje je proces koji ukljuĉuje određivanje ciljeva destinacije, oblikovanje i izvođenje strategija te kontrolu izvedbe. Navedeno shvaćanje definira strateško upravljanje kao podruĉje koje ukljuĉuje sveukupno brigu o poslovnoj politici pri čemu su okruženje i strategija bitne varijable. Proces strateškog upravljanja turističkom destinacijom podrazumijeva niz aktivnosti koje se međusobno nadopunjavaju i isprepliću. Može se reći da su glavne aktivnosti procesa strateškog upravljanja turističkom destinacijom planiranje, organiziranje te vođenje i kadroviranje, a navedene aktivnosti su pod konstantnom kontrolom i monitoringom. Navedeni proces započinje planiranjem odnosno izradom strateških razvojnih i operativnih planova na koje se nadovezuje izrada strateško marketinškog plana kao zasebne vrste planiranja plasiranja turistiĉkog proizvoda na tržište te određivanje organizacija za upravljanje razvojem turističke destinacije. Prilikom pisanja Diplomskog rada autor se koristio metodom analize, sinteze, dedukcije, deskripcije, indukcije, statistiĉkom metodom te metodom stadije sluĉaja.
Abstract (english)
The topic of graduate thesis is “Strategically management of tourist destination”. The main goal of graduate thesis is to research, define and analyze phases and steps through which tourist destination goes while making business and to see how making business functions in praxis. The chosen example is “Master plan for the tourism of Istria for period from 2002 to 2010.” Thesis consists of 8 parts. Main theme is processed from second to fifth chapter. Strategically management is process which includes assessment of goals, forming and shaping strategies and control of performance in tourist destination. Strategically management can also be defined as field that is responsible for overall business politics in destination and environment and strategies are main variables. The process of strategically management includes a series of activities that complement each other. It can be said that main activities of this process are: planning, organizing and guidance with appointments. These activities are under constant control and monitoring. Process of strategically management starts with planning. Planning includes making strategic development plans. Second step is making of strategic marketing plan which is separate type of planning and is in charge of product placement on market. Last step is setting up destination management destination. While writing graduate thesis author used methods of analysis, synthesis, deduction, description, induction, statistical method and case study method.
