Traffic and tourism are economic activities which have a very complex relations of mutual dependence. Vacation is one of the main reasons for traveling tourists, although not necessary because today's tourists are increasingly looking to get richer tourist experiences. The largest number of tourists chooses to use air transport because of the speed of arrival to destination and safety. Tourism encourages the construction of transport infrastructure, and when it comes to the Republic of Croatia most investments are related to road infrastructure because most of the passengers use this type of transport. Even though visible improvements have been made in recent years, we can still say that tourism and transport development as well as the development of accompanying facilities have not been sufficiently developed. Tourism is more dependent of environmental degradation than some other economic activity. The environment is his primary resource and he is looking for a quality and preserved space for his development.
