Abstract | Sažetak
Abstract (english) | Summary
This graduate thesis analyzed halal entrepreneurship in Croatia, the obtaining of halal certificates, and analyzing or comparing the global halal markets. Research questions, such as what is halal, how to obtain a halal certificate, what halal entrepreneurship in Croatia is like, and research on individual halal markets, were posed.
In the theoretical part of this graduate thesis, both domestic and foreign literature and online sources were used. Data collection for halal market comparison solely used online sources, because the Halal market is one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
The halal market is divided into halal food, the halal financial sector, halal fashion, halal media, halal travel and the halal pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors. There is potential for progress in every sector, i.e. possible new investments, as well as the entry of new companies into the market. The Halal cosmetics market is currently the sector that is easiest to enter into, because there are no businesses that deal exclusively with halal cosmetics, and that segment creates a problem for Muslims. The halal market in 2030 will be one of the developed global markets and it will promote the market of healthy living and healthy eating. |
