Abstract
U ovom radu staviti će se naglasak na tehnologiju u bankarstvu, vrste tehnologije te na koji način ona utječe samo sam razvoj bankarstva. Elektroničko plaćanje kao i elektroničko bankarstvo se najviše ističu kod novih tehnologija, budući da olakšavaju sam proces obavljanja bankarskih usluga. Ne smijemo zaboraviti ni tehnološke inovacije kao što su bankomati, POS terminali, IBAN i SWIFT koji doprinose lakšem obavljanju transakcija. Samim time, Internet bankarstvo još više olakšava obavljanje tih stvari, jer ono zapravo predstavlja obavljanje svih bankovnih usluga putem Interneta. Platne kartice dijele se na kreditne, debitne, revolving, „smart“ i „perpaid“ kartice od kojih svaka od njih ima svoju zasebnu ulogu, iako sve dijele zajedničku funkciju. Uz plaćanje se vežu i sustavi plaćanja, od kojih je možda najizraženiji decentralizirani sustav budući da na sebe veže digitalnu valutu. Dolazi do pojave elektroničkog novca, čija je definicija određena Zakonom o elektroničkom novcu, kojim je isto tako određeno koje institucije imaju pravo na izdavanje elektroničkog novca.
Abstract (english)
In this final work focus will be on bank technology, types of technology and how it affects the banking development itself. With new technologies, electronic payments and electronic banking are the most prominent since they make it easier to use banking services. Also, we mustn't forget technological inovations suc as ATMs, POS terminals, IBANs and SWIFTs that make transactions easier. Therefore, Internet banking make sit eaven easier to do these things because it actually represents the ability to provide all banking services online. Payment cards are divided into credit, debit, revolving, smart and perpaid cards, each of wich has a separate role even though they all share the same function. Payment i salso linked to payment system, of wich perhaps the most prominent in the decentralized system since it binds with digital currency. There i san emergence of electronic money, the definition of wich is determined by the Law of Electronic Money, wich also determines which institutions are entitled to issue electronic money.
