Samurai are one of the main symbols of Japan and Japanese society. They have strongly marked a partof Japanese history and have been promoted as one of the foundations of knowing and understanding Japanese society. Although they have originally and primarily represented warriors in this area, they were conducted in many political, cultural and social functions. The confirmation of the mentioned can be analyzed in their way of life, which is manifested through our attitude towards the relation to the religions, women, families and life events. The foundation of samurai history andidentity is bušido. The code of honor reflected the fundamental moral values and principles of these warriors, and today it represents the concepts that are sometimes interpreted as the original Japanese identity, still devotedly revered and preserved as such.
