Abstract
Organizacije se počinju sve više osvrtati na razvijanje i ostvarivanje dugoročnih ciljeva koji će pridonijeti postizanju uspjeha i povećanju konkurentnosti kroz primjene novih spoznaja u teoriji i praksi menadžmenta. Kao nove spoznaje i teorije pojavljuje se pojam poslovne izvrsnosti kao koncept upravljanja potpunom kvalitetom koji se sve više razvijao kroz godine, a temelji mu potiču iz praksi japanskih poduzeća. Poslovna izvrsnost definirana je kao visoka razina uspješnosti poduzeća s obzirom na ostvarenje vrhunskih rezultata. Postoje razni modeli poslovne izvrsnosti koji predstavljaju sustavni pristup poboljšanja organizacije s integriranom strategijom upravljanja kvalitetom, koji ujedno omogućuju organizaciji vršenje samoprocjene unutar i izvan nje. Jedan od modela koji se ističe u Europi je EFQM model izvrsnosti koji kroz svoje kriterije vodi organizaciju k stvaranju poslovne izvrsnosti i putu prema dobivanju Europske nagrade za kvalitetu. Modelima poslovne izvrsnosti organizacija ima mogućnost dobre pripreme za dobivanje nagrade za kvalitetu, ali i također temelj za daljnja usavršavanja i unaprjeđenja. Postizanje poslovne izvrsnosti, organizaciji otvara put prema zagarantiranom uspjehu.

Organizations puts their focus on developing and reaching long-term goals that will contribute to achieve success and increase competitiveness through the application of new knowledge in the theory and practice of management. As new findings appear concept of business excellence through the paradigm of Total Quality Management, which is increasingly developed through the years whose foundations come from the practice of Japanese companies. Business excellence is defined as a high level of performance of the company considering the achievement of high results. Models of business excellence represent systematic approach to improve the organization of an integrated quality management strategy and allow to do self-assessment inside and out of the organization. One of the model in Europe is EFQM model of excellence. Following model criteria organization can achieve business excellence and qualify for the European Quality Award. Models can be used to prepare the organization in the way of getting award for quality, but also it can be the basis for further development and improvement. Achieving business excellence, organization opens the way to a guaranteed success.
