Abstract 5G je peta generacija bežičnih mreža koja donosi nove mogućnosti povezivanja, povećane mobilnosti, fleksibilnosti, pouzdanosti i sigurnosti. 5G omogućuje novu vrstu mreže koja je dizajnirana za povezivanje gotovo svih i svega zajedno, uključujući strojeve, predmete i uređaje.1 Automatizacija, robotizacija, digitalizacija, modernizacija industrije, samo su neki od sinonima koji se odnose na 5G. U svrhu diplomskog rada provedeno je istraživanje čiji je cilj analizirati percepcije, stavove i stupanj prihvaćanja primjene 5G tehnologije u poslovanju i kod korisnika. Osnovnom se hipotezom želi potvrditi kako će se visokim stupnjem prihvaćanja i primjene 5G tehnologije u poslovanju i društvu, stvarati pretpostavke za unaprjeđenjem poslovanja. Uzorak istraživanja temeljen je na odgovorima pojedinaca različitog spola, starosti i razine obrazovanja, koji su svoje stavove iskazali putem anketnog online upitnika, koji je sastavljen od 49 pitanja. Rezultati su pokazali kako je većina ispitanika zainteresirana za 5G tehnologiju, te ima želju za uvođenjem iste u poslovanje. Ispitanici smatraju kako je 5G pozitivna stvar i za poslovanje i za društvo, nemaju strah od korištenja nove tehnologije, te očekuju početak korištenja za manje od godine dana. Uz istraživanje, objašnjen je razvoj 5G mreže, prednosti koje donosi u usporedbi s prijašnjim mrežama, te kako se implementira u raznim granama poslovanja. Cilj je razumjeti dosadašnji razvoj mobilnih mreža kroz generacije i uvidjeti korisničku precepciju prilika koje primjena 5G mreže može donijeti digitalnom poslovanju.
Abstract (english) 5G is the fifth generation of wireless networks that brings new connectivity, increased mobility, flexibility, reliability and security. 5G provides a new type of network that is designed to connect almost anyone and everything together, including machines, objects and devices.2 Automatization, robotization, digitalization, modernization of the industry, are just some of the synonyms related to 5G. For the purpose of the thesis, research was conducted with the goal of analyzing the perceptions, attitudes and the degree of acceptance of the application of 5G technology in business and by users. The basic hypothesis seeks to confirm that a high degree of acceptance and application of 5G technology in business and society will create the preconditions for business improvement. The sample of the research is based on the answers of individuals of different sex, age and level of education, who expressed their views through an online questionnaire consisting of 49 questions. The results show that most respondents are interested in 5G technology, and have a desire to introduce it in business. Respondents believe that 5G is a positive thing for both business and society, they are not afraid to use new technology, they even expect to start using it in less than a year. In addition to the research, it is explained the development of the 5G network, the advantages it brings compared to previous networks and the way it is applied in various branches of business. The goal is to understand the current development of mobile networks through generations to see the user's assumption of the opportunities that the application of the 5G network can bring to digital business.
