Abstract
– 2014. godine. – 2014. godine.

Parallel abstract (English)
The diploma thesis Five Years of the Croatian Children's Festival explores the children's songs performed at the Croatian Children's Festival in the period 2010 – 2014. The analysis was documented by published proceedings and sheet music of the performed songs and it explored the most common themes and musical elements, such as tonality, tempo, voice volume and meter that showed up most frequently in the performed songs. The methods used were abstraction, analysis and synthesis. The thesis encompassed a total of 105 songs performed at the Croatian Children's Festival over the years 2010 – 2014. The results confirmed a wide variety of themes covered, versatile tonality, meter and tempo and an enviable range of children's voices, with the highest tone f2 and the lowest tone g. The assumed hypotheses confirmed the benefits of using the Croatian Children's Festival contents in order to enrich the school and choir repertoires, to contribute to music culture teaching and for integration with other content subjects in education.
