Abstract Problematika završnog rada temeljila se na istraživanju koje vrste dividendnih politika postoje te kakvu dividendnu politiku provodi poduzeće Podravka d.d. Cilj rada je putem teorijskog djela prikazati općenito o poduzeću, dividendim politikama i analizi financijskih izvještaja. Podravka je jedna od vodećih kompanija jugoistočne Europe u proizvodnji prehrane i farmaceutike. U svojem sedamdeset godišnjem postojanju stvorila je mnoge brendove te lojalnost i povjerenje svojih potrošača. Postoje različite vrste politike dividendi kao npr. politike konstantnih odnosa raspodjele, politike rezidualnih dividendi, politika stabilnih dividendi i politika redovnih dividendi plus ekstra dividende krajem razdoblja. Provođenje svake od ovih politika ovisi o poduzeću. Većina poduzeća provodi politiku stabilnih dividendi.
Odluku hoće li se dividenda isplaćivati ili ne, donose dioničari na glavnoj godišnjoj skupštini većinom glasova.
Na temelju analize financijskih izvještaja može se vidjeti kako poduzeće posluje, te kako posluju poduzeća koja kotiraju na istom ili sličnom tržištu. Financijski pokazatelji na najbolji način prikazuju kako poduzeće posluje, iz kojih izvora se poduzeće financira, ali i je li poduzeće profitabilno ili ne. Iznos dividende Podravke d.d. mijenja se iz godine u godinu ovisno o rezultatu poslovanja te dobiti poduzeća. Na temelju odluke o politici isplate dividende te samih isplata dividende vidljivo je da Podravka d.d. prakticira politiku stabilnih dividendi. Politika stabilnih dividendi je također vidljiva kod isplate gdje je Podravka dvije godine isplatila iznos od 7 kuna po dionici, a nakon toga isplaćuje 9 kuna po dionici.
Abstract (english) The issue of the final paper is based on the research of what types of dividend policies exist and what dividend policy is implemented by the company Podravka d.d. The aim of this paper is to present the company in general, their dividend policies and analysis of the financial statements through theoretical work. Podravka d.d. is one of the leading companies in Southeast Europe in the production of food and pharmaceuticals. In its seventy years of existence, it has created many brands, loyalty and trust of its consumers. There are different types of dividend policies such as constant distribution ratio policies, residual dividend policies, stable dividend policies and regular dividend policies plus extra end-of-period dividends. The implementation of each of these policies depends on the company. Most companies pursue a policy of stable dividends.
The decision on whether the dividend will be paid or not is made by the shareholders at the general annual general meeting by a majority vote. By analyzing the financial statements, we can observe how does the company operate and compare how other companies quote on the same or similar market. Financial indicators are the best way to show how the company operates, from what sources the company is financed, but also whether the company is profitable or not. The value of dividend policy of Podravka d.d. changes from year to year and the worth depends on the result of their business and profit. Based on the policy decisions to pay dividends and the dividend payments themselves, it is evident that Podravka d.d. practices a policy of stable dividends. On the other hand, the policy of stable dividends is noticeable in the payment where Podravka d.d. was paying the amount of HRK 7 per stock for two years, and now it pays HRK 9 per stock.
