This master's thesis details the concept of mobbing at the workplace that form the essence of this paper. The thesis presents causes, stages and symptoms of mobbing, types of mobbing, profiles of mobbers and victims, conquences of mobbing, types of diagnosis, possibilities of mobbing prevention and how to fight against mobbing in an organization using rules of conduct and laws and legal regulations. A special chapter refers to the identification of mobbing, its causes and consequences in companies in Croatia (Boso d.o.o., KBC Sestre milosrdnice, HEP d.d., and INA d.d.) and in the world (Walmart, Small Bookstore, Italian Publishing House and Ilva Ironworks). The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the impact and importance of mobbing prevention in the business of organizations so that they can operate in a healthy work surrounding in the long term.
