Abstract
Suvremeni turizam je suočenje s intenzivnim promjenama i trendovima, koji zahtijevaju praćenja i istraživanja. Vodeći trendovi i područja u kojima se javljaju oskudijevaju turističkim ekspertizama, te se u tom smjeru usmjeravaju turistički posrednici, posebice turoperatori. Neka od tih područja su specijalizacija, digitalizacija i informatizacija, ljudski potencijali te održivi razvoj i novi turizam. Turoperatori su i u prošlosti zauzimali status organizatora, kreatora i generatora promjena u turizmu, a to čine i danas, kroz turističke ekspertize. Potvrda toga je TUI AG koji kontinuiran koristi postojeće ekspertize i baze podataka, a time generira nove projekte i inicijative, koje obogaćuju turističke ekspertize iz raznih područja. Specijalizacija i stručnost kadrova u turizmu, uz inovacije i transformacije predstavljaju temelj turističkih ekspertiza i potvrdu o njihovu implementiranju na razini turoperatora i poslovnih strategija kojim odgovaraju na tržišne izazove. Cilj je istražiti ulogu turoperatora u suvremenom turizmu i poticanju turističkih ekspertiza. Svrha je kroz studiju slučaja potvrditi da turističke ekspertize snažno obilježavaju njihovo poslovanje.
Abstract (english)
Contemporary tourism is facing to intense changes and trends that require monitoring and research. Leading trends are the main areas in which they occur and that have a lackness of tourist expertises. The intensive effects in those areas have main turoperators. Some of the areas are specialization, digitalization and informatization, human resources, sustainabe development and new tourism. During the past tour operators had the status of organizers, creators and generators of changes in tourism. Todaythey have the same impact, so they are also creators of the touroms expertises. Confirmation of that is TUI AG, which continuously uses existing database expertises for thegenerating some new projects and initiatives, which enrich tourism expertises from various fields. The specialization and human reseources expertises, along with innovations and transformations, represent the basis of tourism and tur operators. The aim is to explore the role of tour operators in modern tourism in the meaning of encouraging tourism expertises. The purpose is to confirm the mentioned trough case study, TUI Group.
