Abstract
Rad se fokusira na terminologiju koja se koristila posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća i koja se trenutno koristi u vođenju terenske dokumentacije u Hrvatskoj. Dokumentiranje je napredovalo od vođenja dnevnika i zapisnika sve do današnjih standardiziranih formulara. Promjenom u načinu dokumentiranja, načinu iskopavanja mijenjala se terminologija. Britanski arheolozi bili su među prvima koji su u svoju praksu uveli dokumentiranje pomoću formulara. 10-ak godina kasnije i hrvatski arheolozi su dobili svoje prve formulare. No, najveći problem dokumentiranja u hrvatskim istraživanjima je nestandardizirana terminologija, koju Britanci imaju desetljećima. U ovom radu obratit ću pažnju na formulare i terminologiju koju koristimo u Hrvatskoj i usporediti ih sa britanskim.
Abstract (english)
This thesis focuses on terminology that has been used in the last few decades and is currently used in managing field documentation in Croatia. Documentation has progressed from keeping diaries and records to today’s standardized forms. With the change in the way of documenting and excavating, the terminology also had to change. British archaeologists were among the first to introduce documentation using forms in their practice. About 10 years later, Croatian archaeologists also started using their forms. However, the biggest problem when documenting in Croatian forms is non- standardized terminology, which the British had for decades. In this paper, I will take a closer look at the forms and terminology we use in Croatia and compare them with the British ones.
