Abstract
U ovom radu riječ je o poremećajima hranjenja i navikama hranjenja djece do treće godine života. U teorijskom dijelu rada upoznajemo se sa ključnim pojmovima ovog istraživanja – što točno podrazumijeva pravilna prehrana, koja su njezina obilježja, što su navike hranjenja i kako možemo utjecati na njih. Upoznajemo se sa faktorima rizika razvoja poremećaja te klasifikacijom uzroka nastanka poremećaja hranjenja te razvojnim problemima poremećenog hranjenja. Istraživanje je provedeno sa četrdeset i osam roditelja i pedeset i dvoje djece na području Grada Buzeta. Zadatak roditelja bio je procijeniti psiho-funkcionalne teškoće svojeg djeteta u sklopu Skale procjene simptoma koja je korištena prilikom istraživanja. Ključni rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da se poremećaji hranjenja i problemi vezani uz hranjenje javljaju kod malog postotka ispitane djece te da većina ima dobre navike hranjenja uz pojedine izuzetke te da ne postoje spolne razlike u učestalosti poremećaja i navikama hranjenja. Na kraju dajemo sažetak očekivanih ponašanja roditelja prema djeci ali i obrnuto te preporuke i savjete kako se postaviti prema djeci ukoliko se jave problemi, kako ih zainteresirati za obroke te kako se ponašati za vrijeme obroka.

Parallel abstract (English)
This article deals with the eating disorders and eating habits of toddlers and difference in gender. In the theoretical part of the work key concepts of this research were introduced - what exactly is the proper nutrition and its characteristics. We explained what are eating habits and how we can influence them. We learned the risk factors of development disorders, their classification and causes, as well as development problems in disordered eating. The study was conducted with forty-eight parents and fifty-two children in the City of Buzet. The task of parents was to assess the psychological and functional problems of their child as part of the survey Symptom check list. Key results have shown that eating disorders and problems related feeding occur in a small percentage of the children, the majority of respondent has good eating habits with certain exceptions and the gender differences in appearance of eating disorders and eating habits don not exist at such a young children. In the end, summary was given of the expected behavior of parents for their children and the recommendations and advice how to handle children if they have problems, how to interest them for meals and how to act in time of the meals.
