Abstract
Tjelesna aktivnost ima brojne zdravstvene prednosti za srce, tijelo i um. Tjelesna aktivnost pridonosi prevenciji i liječenju nezaraznih bolesti kao što su kardiovaskularne bolesti, rak i dijabetes, smanjuje simptome depresije i tjeskobe. Također, poboljšava vještine razmišljanja, učenja i prosuđivanja. Redovita tjelesna aktivnost može poboljšati mišićnu i kardiorespiratornu kondiciju, poboljšati zdravlje kostiju i funkcionalnost, smanjiti rizik od hipertenzije, koronarne bolesti srca, moždanog udara, dijabetesa, raznih vrsta raka i depresije, smanjiti rizik od padova, kao i prijeloma kuka ili kralježaka tr pomoći u održavanju zdrave tjelesne težine. Države i lokalne zajednice trebaju poduzeti mjere kako bi svima pružile više mogućnosti za aktivnost s ciljem povećanja tjelesne aktivnosti.
Abstract (english)
Physical activity has significant health benefits for the heart, body and mind. Physical activity contributes to the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes, reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety. It also improves thinking, learning and judgment skills. Regular physical activity can improve muscle and cardiorespiratory fitness, improve bone health and functionality, reduce the risk of hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, various types of cancer and depression, reduce the risk of falls, as well as hip or vertebral fractures, and help maintaining a healthy body weight. States and local communities must take measures to provide everyone with more opportunities for activity, in order to increase physical activity.
