Abstract
Industrijska proizvodnja jedan je od najbitnijih pokazatelja uspješnosti gospodarstva neke zemlje. Pomoću nje se prikazuje trenutna produktivnost zemlje, odnosno njezin razvoj i tržišna konkurentnost. U ovome je radu industrijska proizvodnja objašnjena kroz svoj nastanak, funkcionalnost, povijesni razvoj te kroz posljedice koje sa sobom nosi. Bitno je bilo upoznati se s pojavom industrijskih i tehničko-tehnoloških revolucija kroz povijest, a u sklopu toga i sa bitnim izumima te otkrićima pomoću kojih su se postavili temelji za daljnji razvoj tehnologije. Također smo se upoznali i sa najbitnijim granama industrije kroz povijest hrvatskih gradova te sa načinom života u velikim europskim gradovima u doba industrijalizacije. Pred kraj rada je bilo riječi i o postindustrijskim društvu te o fenomenima modernog doba kao što su globalizacija i informatizacija.
Abstract (english)
Industrial production is one of the most important indicators of a country's successful economy. With it, current country's productivity is indicated; more specifically its development and market competitiveness. In this paper, industrial production is explained through its formation, functionality, historical development and the consequences that occur with it. It was of utmost importance to study the phenomenon of industrial and technical-technological revolutions through history, and in connection to this, relevant inventions and discoveries that were fundamental for further technological development. Furthermore, the paper discusses the most important branches of industry through history of Croatian towns and the lifestyle in the big European cities in the period of industrialisation. Towards the end of the paper, post-industrial society and phenomenon of modern age such as globalisation and informatisation are discussed.
