The thesis explores contemporary trends in the hospitality industry, with a particular focus on the application of biophilic design in hotel interiors. Biophilic design is based on the concept of connecting humans with nature through architectural solutions that incorporate natural elements, such as light, plants, water, and natural materials. The aim of this paper is to analyze how biophilic design contributes to enhancing the guest experience, improving their physical and mental well-being, and increasing hotel sustainability in line with environmental standards. Through a review of relevant literature and analysis of specific examples of hotels that successfully implement this design, the research examines how hotels can increase their competitiveness in the market while creating eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Additionally, the paper considers future development directions in hospitality in the context of the growing trend of sustainability, environmental care, and rising awareness of the importance of a healthy environment for both guests and hotel staff.
