The aim of this graduate thesis is to show the development of dynamic web of the applications using PHP and Ajax on the actual application. The work is divided into two parts that explain the process of developing a dynamic web application using the above mentioned scripting languages. The first part of the work is a theoretical part in which concepts of web applications and their role in the new trend of WEB 2.0 are clarified. Thereafter, the models of software development are presented, so you can distinguish models of evolutionary development, incremental development, formal development, graphic development and re-use model. In the same chapter, along with the description of each model, both their advantages and disadvantages are shown. Furthermore, the types of scripting languages are clarified, so we can divide the scripting languages into those directed to the client and those directed to the server. This graduate thesis offers a detailed explanation of scripting languages used in developing web applications, of such as - PHP and jQuery Ajax. Their history of development and usage is shown, in the very description of these two server-side scripting languages, as well as statistics on PHP usage as a server language, including new trends and frames in the use of PHP and the use of MySQL queries. When clarifying the use of jQuery Ajax as a server language, examples from the code to create a web application Medias are used. The second part of this graduate thesis is application of acknowledgements in creating web application Medias, whereby is first showed and explained each database table which was used to create a web application, and than Ipresented and explained each of the 15 pages that are forming the Medias web application.
