najnižih vozarina i početka duboke krize za brodare. Dolazi do pada potražnje za brodskim
prostorom. Uzrok tome bilo je usporavanje gospodarskog rasta u svijetu, a time i smanjenje
obujma pomorskog prijevoza zbog smanjenja potražnje za sirovinama (ugljen, željezna
rudača, žitarice) u svjetskom gospodarstvu, naročito u Kini i Indiji.
Hrvatski brodarski prijevoznici tereta dijele sudbinu svjetskog brodarstva i nastale krize, čije
Hrvatski brodari u razdoblju 2010. – 2013. svoju šansa vidjeli su u prodaji starijih brodova,
obnovi flote gradnjom novih, modernijih brodova, veće komercijalne i ekološke vrijednosti.
Također prilagođavali su veličinu flote većom zastupljenošću brodova tipa supramax i
handysize, jer njihove vozarine najmanje osciliraju.
U ovom radu provedena je analiza poslovanja društava brodarskih prijevoznika tereta u
pokazatelje društava, horizontalnu i vertikalnu analiza financijskih izvještaja te mjerenje
financijskih pokazatelja.
Abstract (english) Maritime shipping as a transport service that is carried out through maritime routes is the
main leader of worldwide trade. Leaders of maritime transport are transporters that organize
shipping in line shipping, free shipping and tanker shipping.
After a five year period of greatest growth that started in 2003, under the influence of world
financial crisis that affected shipping market in 2008 the period of lowest fares a deep crisis
for members of shipping trade has started. The need for shipping services has decreased. The
reason for that was the slow economical growth, and the decrease of span of maritime
transport due to decreased demands for raw materials (coal, iron ore, cereals) in world
economy, especially in China and India. Other significant reason for the lowering of fares was
significantly greater supply over the demand of shipping services due to immense affluence of
new ships on the bulk cargo transport market in the period between 2010 and 2013.
Croatian members of the shipping trade share the same faith as the shipping trade of the rest
of the world and the crisis. Consequences of the crisis started showing in their business, as far
as the negative results are concerned, from 2011 onwards.
In the period between 2010 and 2013, Croatian members of shipping trade have seen their
chance in selling older ships and renewal of the fleet by constructing new, modern ships with
higher commercial and ecological value. They have also adapted the size of the fleet by using
more ships type supramax and handysize, because their fares oscillate the least.
In this thesis analysis on the basis of financial reports for the period between 2010 and 2013
was made for business activities of each member of shipping trade in Republic of Croatia and
according to the level of services they perform. Analysis covers non financial indicators of
associations, horizontal and vertical analysis of financial reports and financial indicators.
Analysis provides information about the previous business activities and is a premise for
rational management of corporations in future.
