This paper describes the BPMN 2.0 standard set by the OMG (Object Management Group) in 2011. BPMN 2.0 is used for business process modeling and to display the environment with which these processes collaborate and exchange information. BPMN 2.0 contains additional diagrams and elements that previous versions did not support, once formed executable models can be converted to process-oriented applications (POA). The goal of the BPMN 2.0 is to provide an in-depth view of the organization's internal processes so that analysts and business professionals can see the flaws in the workflow model and accordingly, make the necessary changes that optimize the business process or raise it to a whole new level of efficiency. It's designed to complement areas of misunderstanding between model designers and the developers who implement that model into the system. An extensive set of elements and the addition of comments ensures that the model is clear to all involved in the development. The first few chapters introduce us with business processes and with the beginnings of BPMN notation and it's development to date. Then, more extensive research of BPMN 2.0 begins, in which all types of diagrams and known subdivisions relating to models and sets of elements are presented. After that, there I san an outline of the basic elements that are inevitable in any serious model making and an explanation of each of those elements. By concluding the previous chapters that show the core of the BPMN 2.0 notation, we introduce the software tools that support this method and within which we create models. Tools included in the research paper are Bizagi Modeler, Signavio Workflow and Camunda Modeler. The second section provides examples of the collaborative diagram model from the book and my own example of BPD (Business Process Diagram). The paper concludes by outlining the possibilities of applying BPMN 2.0 in small and medim enterprises (SME) .
