Abstract
U radu je dan povijesni prikaz razvoja geografskih informacijskih sustava i glavnih pojmova koji opisuju GIS. Prikazane su sastavnice GIS-a, vrste podatka i baze podataka u geografskom informacijskom sustavu. Naposljetku je izrađen GIS projekt koji služi za jednostavnije i preglednije prostorno planiranje. Izrađen je GIS projekt dijela prostornoga plana Općine Sv. Lovreč te je grafički prikazano trenutačno stanje, zahtjevi stanovništva i prijedlog na osnovi grafičke analize. Finalni je pregled omogućen pomoću mrežne mape koja na jednostavan i jednoznačan način prikazuje izrađeni GIS projekt.
Abstract (english)
The paper presents a historical review of the development of geographical information systems and the very concepts that describe GIS. GIS components, data types, and databases in the geographic information system are presented. In the end, a GIS project was created to make spatial planning simpler and more transparent. The GIS project was created as part of the spatial plans of the municipality of Sv.Lovreč. It is a graphical representation of the current situation, population requirements and a proposal on the basis of graphical analyzes. The final overview enables the use of a web map that represents the GIS projects created in a simple and unambiguous way.
