Abstract Tema ovoga rada bazira se na organizaciji hotelskog smještaja u kulturnoj baštini, te će se u radu za početak istaknuti pojmovno određenje hotela ali samog hotela baština te njegov razvoj, ponuda i propisani uvjeti. Rad sadrži i statističke podatke hotelijerstva u RH, odnosno podatke koji prikazuju ukupan broj svih hotela i hotela baština u Hrvatskoj. Podaci pokazuju da Hrvatska trenutno ima 47 hotela baština u kojima su češći gosti oni strani, dok domaći nešto rjeđe odsjedaju u ovakvoj vrsti hotela. Neki od razloga tome mogu biti financije, s obzirom na to da je riječ o luksuznijim hotelima te si određene skupine posjetitelja ne mogu priuštiti takav smještaj. No osim toga, u pitanju su i želje turista ali i promocija koja hotele baština prikazuje samo kao još jednu vrstu smještaja, ne kao kulturnu baštinu određenog mjesta. Još jedna glavna stavka ovoga rada je prenamjena kulturne baštine u hotelski smještaj, te ima li konverzacija dobar utjecaj na baštinu. Svakako da kulturna baština treba prenamjenu kako bi se očuvala i spriječila od propadanja. Prenamjena kulturne baštine u hotelski smještaj valjan je potez za očuvanje ukoliko se koristi na održivi način tako da se očuva prvotni stil i doživljaj baštine.
Provedena su dva glavna istraživanja, odnosno studije slučaja u kojima su se istraživali promocija i dostupnost kulturne baštine u privatnom vlasništvu. Što se promocije baštine tiče, svi hoteli baština imaju veliku promociju, bilo na društvenim mrežama, raznim turističkim stranicama ili portalima, no promoviraju se u krivom smjeru jer su predstavljeni samo kao još jedna vrsta turističkog smještaja dok se povijest i važnost baštine rijetko spominje.
Mnoga kulturna baština nalazi se u privatnom vlasništvu, te se postavlja pitanje jesu li oni dostupni javnosti. Nakon istraživanja utvrđeno je da je većina takve baštine dostupna javnosti osim slučaja Kutjevačkog dvorca koji nema dopušten pristup za javnost. Iako takva odluka pruža negativne strane poput manjka poznavanja vlastite povijesti i identiteta, ona isto tako ima i pozitivne strane poput očuvanog okoliša i samog objekta.
Abstract (english) The topic of this paper is based on the organization of hotel accommodation in cultural heritage, and the paper will begin by highlighting the conceptual definition of the hotel but the heritage hotel itself and its development, offer and prescribed conditions. The paper also contains statistical data on the hotel industry in the Republic of Croatia, ie data showing the total number of all hotels and heritage hotels in Croatia. The data show that Croatia currently has 47 heritage hotels in which foreign guests are more frequent guests, while locals are somewhat less likely to stay in this type of hotel. Some of the reasons for this may be finances, given that these are more luxurious hotels and certain groups of visitors cannot afford such accommodation. But apart from that, it is also a question of tourists' wishes, but also a promotion that presents heritage hotels only as another type of accommodation, not as a cultural heritage of a certain place. Another main item of this paper is the conversion of cultural heritage into hotel accommodation, and whether the conversation has a good impact on heritage. Certainly, cultural heritage needs to be repurposed in order to be preserved and prevented from decay. The conversion of cultural heritage into hotel accommodation is a valid move for preservation if used in a sustainable way so as to preserve the original style and experience of heritage.
Two main researches were conducted, ie case studies in which the promotion and accessibility of privately owned cultural heritage were investigated. As far as heritage promotion is concerned, all heritage hotels have a great promotion, whether on social media, various tourist sites or portals, but are promoted in the wrong direction because they are presented only as another type of tourist accommodation while history and importance of heritage are rarely mentioned.
Many cultural heritage sites are privately owned, and the question arises as to whether they are available to the public. After the research, it was determined that most of such heritage is available to the public, except in the case of Kutjevo Castle, which does not have public access. While such a decision provides negative sides such as a lack of knowledge of one’s own history and identity, it also has positive sides such as a preserved environment and the facility itself.
