Abstract
Turizam ne uključuje samo turiste već i posrednike koji formiraju turistički proizvod i utječu na njegovu doživljenu vrijednost. Internet je u sektoru turističke industrije promijenio klasične načine poslovanja poput komunikacije sa gostima, marketinga, te samih rezervacija. Posrednici turizmu u suvremenim uvjetima globalizacije i sve veće konkurencije, pribjegavaju ka specijalizaciji i povećanju kvalitete ponude, ne bi li opstali na tržištu. Primjenom informacijske tehnologije i reakcijom na trendove današnjice razvijaju nove turističke proizvode specijalizirane u tržišne niše, kako bi bili što konkurentniji. Rad istražuje načine prilagodbe turoperatora te mogućnosti međunarodne suradnje. Način na koji turoperatori posluju te sposobnost prilagodbe novim trendovima tržišta od ključne su važnosti za njihov opstanak. Održivi turizam ima ključnu ulogu u budućnosti turizma, pa se sve više teži ka tome. Na temelju napisanog rada se izvode najvažniji zaključci.
Abstract (english)
Tourism includes not only tourists but also intermediaries who form the tourist product and influence its perceived value. In the tourism industry sector, the Internet has changed the classic ways of doing business, such as communication with guests, marketing, and the reservations themselves. Intermediaries of tourism in the modern conditions of globalization and increasing competition, resort to specialization and increase the quality of supply, in order to survive in the market. By applying information technology and reacting to today's trends, they are developing new tourism products specialized in market niches, in order to be as competitive as possible. The paper explores ways of adjusting tour operators and the possibilities of international cooperation. The way tour operators operate and the ability to adapt to new market trends are crucial to their survival. Sustainable tourism has a key role to play in the future of tourism, and more and more is being pursued. Based on the written work, the most important conclusions are drawn.
