Abstract
Radiološko snimanje ima veliki značaj u njezi bolesnika za rano otkrivanje, dijagnosticiranje i liječenje bolesti. Kod tumora i drugih bolesti mozga, magnetska rezonanca (MR) je jedna od najčešćih metoda snimanja. Razlikovanje tumora mozga vrlo je izazovan zadatak u velikoj prostornoj i strukturnoj varijabilnosti okolnog područja tumora mozga. Stoga je svrha ovog rada razviti model koji se temelji na umjetnoj inteligenciji, odnosno konvolucijskoj neuronskoj mreži, da prepozna tri najčešća tipa... More tumora mozga, gliom, meningeomom i tumor hipofize pomoću slika magnetske rezonance te ispitati četiri arhitekture neurosnkih mreža, EfficientNet, ResNet50v2, Inception te Xception. U prvom dijelu rada opisan je princip rada magnetske rezonance te prikaz najčešćih tumora mozga, dok su u drugom obrađeni pojmovi umjetne inteligencije, strojnog i dubokog učenja, umjetne neuronske mreže te njihove primjene u radiologiji. Arhitektura i način rada konvolucijske neuronske mreže objašnjeni su u trećem dijelu. Nakon toga slijedi opis metode razvoja, treniranja i testiranja mreže na skupu podataka sa stranice Kaggle.com te dobiveni rezultati. Less
Abstract (english)
Radiological imaging is significant in patient care regarding early disease diagnositics and treatment. With brain tumors and other brain diseases magnetic resonance imaging (MR) is the most frequently used method of imaging. Detecting and distinction of tumor structure within spatial and structural variability of brain tissue is challenging. Purpose of this thesis is to develope a model based on artificial intelligence, more precisely convolutional neural networks to distinguish three most... More common types of brain tumors: glioma, meningioma and pituitary tumor using magnetic resonance imaging and test four architectural types of neuron network: EfficientNet, ResNet50v2, Inception and Xception. The first part of thesis describes how MR device works and classifies brain tumors. The second part defines concept of AI, machine and deep learning, artificial neuron network and their usage in radiology. Architecture and function of convolutional neural networks are described in the third part. In the final part there are methods of develepment, training and testing of network made on the dataset from the Kaggle.com and final results. Less
