Abstract
U radu se objašnjava na koji način osobni asistenti funkcioniraju i koje su temeljne razlike u algoritmima koje koriste te na koje načine možemo koristiti osobne asistente. Rad se specificira na usporedbu dva osobna asistenta Siri i Bixby koji se koriste u pametnim telefonima kompanija Apple i Samsung. Opisana je osnovna upotreba osobnih asistenata kroz interakciju pametnog telefona. Prikazan je način na koji svaki osobni asistent dolazi do odgovora na pitanje koje korisnik postavi ili naredbu koju korisnik kaže osobnom asistentu. Usporedna dvaju osobnih asistenata je prikazana kroz tablicu gdje se kroz dostupnu literaturu i izvore radi usporedba iste mogućnosti ili funkcionalnosti te se daje ocjena u obliku znaka x koji označava da je drugi osobni asistent bolji od onog koji je dobio ocjenu x, a osobni asistent koji je bolji u nečemu od drugog dobiva ocjenu kvačice. Vizualna demonstracija osobnih asistenata i njihovih mogućnosti prikazana je kroz više minutni video gdje se zadaju 34 iste glasovne naredbe te su prikazani odgovori osobnih asistenata na te glasovne naredbe. Osobni asistenti će u budućnosti biti integrirani u svaki pametni uređaje koji će okruživati ljude tijekom njihovih svakodnevnih užurbanih života te će se sigurno koristiti naprednije verzije osobnih asistenata koje današnjim danom nisu dostupne javnosti. Cilj osobnih asistenata je da nam olakšaju i najmanje sitnice koje mogu utjecati na svakodnevni život pri čemu će štedite vrijeme i novac njihovih korisnika koji će zahtijevati da osobni asistenti mogu izvršavati sve kompliciranije zadatke i naredbe. Danas postoje na desetke popularnih osobnih asistenata na pametnim telefonima te je dobro da ne vlada monopol nekolicine ili jednog jer konkurencija u tehnologiji je ta koja tjera velike firme na poboljšanja i na kraju dana korisniku bude bolje. Svaki osobni asistent ima pozitivne i negativne strane a na korisniku je da utvrdi koji je najbolji osobni asistent za njega.
Abstract (english)
The paper explains how personal assistants work and what are the fundamental differences in the algorithms they use and in what ways we can use personal assistants. The paper focuses on the comparison of two personal assistants, Siri and Bixby, which are used in Apple and Samsung smartphones. The basic use of personal assistants through smartphone interaction is described. The way in which each personal assistant arrives at the answer to the question that the user asks or the command that the user gives to the personal assistant is shown. The comparison of the two personal assistants is shown in a table where the same possibility or functionality is compared through the available literature and sources, and a rating is given in the form of an x sign, which indicates that the other personal assistant is better than the one that received a rating of x, and the personal assistant that is better at something than another gets a tick mark. A visual demonstration of personal assistants and their capabilities is shown through a several-minute video where 34 identical voice commands are given and the personal assistants' responses to those voice commands are shown. In the future, personal assistants will be integrated into every smart device that will surround people during their daily busy lives, and more advanced versions of personal assistants that are not available to the public today will certainly be used. The goal of personal assistants is to make it easier for us even the smallest things that can affect our daily life, thereby saving time and money of their users who will demand that personal assistants can carry out increasingly complicated tasks and commands. Today there are dozens of popular personal assistants on smartphones, and it is good that there is not a monopoly of a few or one, because competition in technology is what forces big companies to improve and at the end of the day the user is better off. Each personal assistant has positive and negative sides, and it is up to the user to determine which is the best personal assistant for him.
