This paper attempts to cover the incidence of work and trying to come to a conclusion about the meaningfulness of the legal regulation of labor. Although the largest number of workers in developed, industrialized countries still working within a stable, traditional employment relationship, usually for an indefinite period, in the last decade of increasing importance given different atypical forms of employment. They are a consequence of the tendency of employers for flexibility. The increase is particularly true in the form of temporary labor, among which an important place has an employment contract for a definite period, or other forms of work, such as service contracts, professional training for work outside employment and the like. The paper tried to point out the importance of employment , globalization of the economy and the appearance of flexibility in the labor market. I explained the concept of the work, its role in the sense of financial security to people the difference between the labor law and the right to work and their basic determinants. Particular attention was paid to the flexibility of the labor market, the definition of the term, then the changes caused by this situation, and the consequences in the form of atypical forms of employment. These are explained and defined some of the main forms of atypical employment.
