Distribution is the fourth element of the marketing mix through which business entities establish a connection with the market. Compared to other elements it is long-lasting and does not change easily. It contains a set of actions that include all the activities that business entities are taking to deliver their products to consumers. The products placement can be arranged directly or through one or more intermediaries depending on the type of the market where it is going to be placed. In addition to choosing a direct or indirect distribution channel, you must decide to use one or more channels, determine the length and channel intensity. The distribution system, apart from the distribution channel selection, also includes decisions related to physical distribution to which attention should be paid so that there is no delays in delivery or unavailability of the product, which would cancel all previous positive effects. In this paper example of distribution is presented through Atlantic Grupa, focusing on the distribution area of Croatia and the distribution center of Rijeka.
