The elaborated topic in the paper was based on the risks of eating habits. The aim of this paper was to find out the importance of food in our daily lives and the causal and consequent connection between nutritional habits. The main interest of the work is to stimulate interest and raise awareness of the environment about the importance of proper nutrition for a healthy life. It describes the process of getting closer to the natural sources of food, because human and nature cooperation greatly increases the quality of life, or reduces the dangers of jeopardizing the various diseases. The vulnerabilities of unhealthy foods are all around us. Poor nutrition habits make our life pleasant. Therefore, healthy eating is very important for both, adults and children. Proper nutrition is the key to child growth and development. The proper nutrition is essential for the emotional, intellectual and social development of the child. It is especially important during growth because it allows the brain, bones and other organs to develop normally. Choosing a child's diet at all stages of development will directly affect its growth, vigour, mood, immunity resistance, concentration, and success in preschool and school age. This is the time of the most intense growth and is the most important period in the child's diet. Children should learn to acquire the habits of proper nutrition to achieve optimal health. It is desirable to alert children about the importance of proper nutrition that affects our daily life. Food habits that are gained in educational institutions and/or at home will greatly affect their lives.
