Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease characterized by the appearance of erythematous- squamous foci covered with silvery-white scales. Its occurrence is recorded in all age groups, including children. It occurs in a variety of clinical variants, and skin changes are localized in isolation or over the entire body surface. It is associated wth various comorbidties that can significantly affect the daily course of the disease. With its onset, psoriasis significantly affects the quality of life of a young person and his / her family. Due to all the above, the role of general practitioners, dermatologists, nurses and health professionals of various other specialties is of great importance. Education, treatment, psychological support and raising public awareness of this problem are the interventions whose application is necessary in solving the problem of childhood psoriasis.
