The Covid-19 pandemic caused by corona virus spread quite rapidly around the world and significantly changed people's lifestyles, and thus their economic cycles. For this reason most countries in the world are forced, in addition to health measures, to implement measures to save the economy from the economic crisis. Since this is an unprecedented crisis, which has affected all parts of the world and almost all industries and business processes, humanity is facing a "new normal". Many countries and organizations that are not ready to deal with existing crisis demands suffer a lot of negative consequences either for the existence of people or the economy. Therefore, as in all situations of natural disasters, here is the role of the stabilization function performed by states at the national level with the aim of preserving human health and basic economic processes. The work is based in analyzes of the fiscal measures taken in four selected countries (Croatia, Germany, Sweden, USA). It is clear from them that the basic goal was to preserve and encourage economic activity in this health and economic crisis.
