Wine and food tourism, that is, eno-gastronomic tourism, is gaining in importance when choosing to travel to a particular destination and may or may not be one of the main, if not the basic, factors in the tourist development of the destination and all participants involved in this form of selective tourism. This paper seeks to bring readers closer to what represents eno-gastronomic tourism, what represent wine, and what represent food as part of the tourist offer, attractions of a particular destination, and what elements together constitute an eno-gastronomic experience. The work also strives to link motives that encourage potential tourists to choose a particular destination for its eno-gastronomic offer, as well as the very description and classification of tourists on the journey of wine and food. Through this work, the focus is to demonstrate that wine and food can become an unforgettable experience on the journey and that their purpose can be more than just meeting the physiological needs of a human. How wine and food can be influential factors in tourism in a particular destination is described in the paper on the example of the Baranja, which positioned itself highly on the eno-gastronomic map of the Republic of Croatia.
