Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Thesis entitled Physical exercise for children with hearing impairments describes the importance of physical exercise and children's activities from an early age. The lack of physical exercise in today's modern way of living is relatively usual and through this thesis tries to explain the negative effects that may occur if children fail to exercise. During childhood, children learn and create habits that are extended throughout their life span and it is very important for them to get the habit of regular exercise or some other form of physical activity. Through this thesis tries to proof that children with special needs, in this case with hearing impairments, can and should be involved in normal life activities just like children without disabilities. Namely, children with hearing impairments need to be engaged in all normal activities, especially games, just like all other children. Through games in which all children will be involved, regardless of their abilities, it would also possible to explain to children that they are not all the same and that they should adapt to each other.
