Abstract (english) The main theme of this final work is the composition "Poem for piano on the theme of Mosocow nights". Throughout our work, we learn the history of the piano since its predecessors, clavichord, harpsichord, and spinet, all the way to the version we know today. In the eighteenth century it becomes the most widespread instrument with the keys. We also get to know it from the technical side through the review of the parts from which it is made and the mechanisms needed to get the sound on the piano. We also learn about the piano literature and its development. From the literature written for the instruments that preceded the piano, the literature was originally written for them, and later on performed on the piano, all the way to the literature dedicated to the piano. In this work, attention is given to smaller instrumental works (song without words, nocturno, bacarolle, serenade, poem ...). In the central part of the work we learn about the life and work of composer Vasily Pavlovitch Soloviev-Sedoy. He was born in Sankt Petersburg, and his affinities towards music are evident from his childhood. His musical beginnings consisted of playing with mute films, and for the rehersal purposes in art studios and radio stations. After the music education, his work as a composer was noted at the Leningrad Song Competition in 1936. After that, his most famous songs and compositions are made. One of them is "Moscow nights" whose theme served as the basis for creating a piece that is the main goal of this work. The final part consists of the analysis of the composition "Poem for piano on the theme of Moscow nights". It describes the formal structure, and harmonic language used to describe some events from the story described in this work.
