Abstract
Ples je oblik najprirodnijeg izražavanja čovjeka još od starih civilizacija. Svoje korijene ostavio je još u mnogim starim izumrlim civilizacijama, a njegov utjecaj postoji i danas. Ples ima veliki utjecaj na čovjeka, u bilo kojoj životnoj dobi, a posebice u predškolskoj. Dijete se u predškolskoj dobi izražava spontanim pokretima što utječe na razvoj motoričkih i funkcionalnih sposobnosti, te na cjelokupni razvoj. Plesom se kod djece razvija osjećaj za ritam, pravilno držanje, razvija se mašta i kreativnost te se postiže osjećaj pripadnosti u grupi. Korištenjem pokreta, odnosno plesa u tjelesnoj i zdravstvenoj kulturi poštuje se dječja priroda, spontanost i igra, što je veliki korak ka razvoju motivacije za tjelesnom aktivnošću.
Abstract (english)
Dance is the form of the most natural expression of man since ancient civilizations. It has left its roots in many of the old extinct civilizations and its` influence still exists today. It has a great influence at any age, especially in preschool. In preschool age the child expresses spontaneous movements that affect the development of motor and functional abilities and overall development. By dancing, children develop a sense of rhythm, proper posture, imagination and creativity and a sense of belonging to the group is achieved. By using movement or dance in physical education, children's nature, spontaneity and play are respected, which is a major step in the development of motivation for physical activity.
