This paper is exploring the influence of sport on a development of preschool child but it also discusses psychophysical characteristics and everything that precedes to quality sports program or sport activity overly. Sports, as important area od each child's development, is often wrongly assumed or wrongly adapted for the preschool child. By excluding the results from sports activity, stress from competitive part of sports is being strongly relieved which is very important for the child of preschool age because of their current cognitive development and understanding their own personality and ego. Influence of sport on the child is complete and complex and it grows much larger from just encouraging motorical readiness and ability and it strongly encourages all the other spheres of child's development. Parents role in sports has to be positive, rewarding and very supportive as child could, in every moment, be ready and capable of judging their own worth and based on that develop into a complete and self-actualizing personality.
