Currently, there are two versions, namely Internet Protocol version 4 and version 6. The current version of Internet Protocol version 4 has not been changed since 1981. With the development of technology and informatics, computers are increasingly used in business, everyday life and the like. The increase in users requires an increasing number of IP addresses. The current version of the Internet Protocol (IPv4) contains more than 4 billion addresses, but due to the rapid consumption of these addresses, there is a problem of lack of addresses. However, we can also connect the problem of lack of addresses with new technologies, which in most cases receive data from the Internet. With this statement, we can say that one person needs several IP addresses because he connects to the Internet via multiple devices, such as a computer, mobile device and the like. For this reason, IPv6 is being gradually introduced.
