Abstract
Ruski formalizam jedan je od pravaca književne teorije, nastao u 20. stoljeću. Kroz taj pravac djelovale su dvije grupe kritičara, lingvista i teoretičara književnosti, Moskovski lingvistički krug i OPOJAZ. Protivnici su ih nazivali samo formalistima, no oni se ipak nisu bavili samo formom književnog djela. Proučavali su poetska i prozna djela na temelju kojih su gradili svoju teoriju. Utemeljili su nekoliko značajnih pojmova za teoriju književnosti, od kojih su neki začudnost, dominanta, praktični i poetski jezik, literarnost, fabula i siže. Njihova teorija može se primijeniti na svakom književnom djelu. Roman Ante Kovačića U registraturi ima elemente začudnosti. Razlika između fabule i sižea može se jasno vidjeti zbog toga što ovaj roman sadrži brojne retrospektivne epizode. U djelu se pojavlju razne vrste motiva i motivacija, koje je definirao Boris Tomaševski, a prema njegovoj teoriji može se promatrati i izgradnja sižea te oblikovanje junaka.
Abstract (english)
Russian formalism is one of the schools in literary theory of 20th century. That school worked through two groups of literary critics, linguists and literary theorists, Moscow Linguistic Circle and OPOJAZ. Opponents used to call them formalists, but that name was wrong because they were studying more than just a form of a literary work. Subjects of their study were poetic and prose works, and based on those, they defined the russian formalism theory. They named many terms that were new and revolutionary in literary theory, and some of them are defamiliarization, dominant, practic and poetic language, literature, plot and story. Their theory can be explained in almost every literary work. The novel U registraturi by Ante Kovačić has many elements of defamiliarization. The difference between the plot and the story is very clearly defined because od the many retrospective episodes. In this novel, we can analyze many motives and kinds of motivation, by the theory of Boris Tomaševski. According to his theory, we can analyze this novel by its story and shaping of characters.
