An organization that applies social responsibility, sets the goals of responsible behavior towards environmental protection. Defined as the responsibility of an organization towards the impact of its decisions and activities on society and the environment, such an organization and its social responsibility include taking into account the expectations of stakeholders who are at the focus of its functioning. The aim of the research of the final thesis is to determine the characteristics and determinants of business organization, the concept of social responsibility in organizations and to present all of the above on the applied business of Atlantic Group. The purpose of the paper is to point out the need and importance of applying the adoption of modern organizational business models, as well as the implementation of socially responsible business in the regular business activities of business organizations. Atlantic Group is the leading market group in the region, which distributes food products of well-known regional and domestic brands and delivers them to the market through distribution channels. As a strong concern, the group applies socially responsible business towards employees, the environment, the community and investors. This is not its legal obligation, but the free will and decision of the management to set aside part of its exponential profit for investments in society that will directly benefit from their resources, also to apply strategies in its business that will directly affect the environment.
