This paper focuses on anthropogenic impacts on the environment. The environment is of crucial importance for life, but the man with his actions endanger it. Development of population and urbanization, industries, intensive agriculture, the growth of waste, tourism, transport and war, are affecting the pollution of water, air and soil and, as such, cause changes in the environment that may have major consequences on both the present and future generations. The lack of environmental awareness and insufficient awareness about the environment and how it affects it, exacerbates the situation. Acid rain, greenhouse effect, ozone layer depletion and global climate changes, occur as a consequence of man's conscious or unconscious irresponsible behavior. We have witnessed a number of environmental disasters that have hit the world, and that they feel after a few years, and which have left many adverse conditions for life in the areas affected by disasters. The disappearance of the herbal and animal species, deforestation, drinking water, arable land, are not the only consequences that threaten life on earth. Protection of the environment, natural resources and space is important political and development issue and is therefore an important environmental policy in the country. In order to preserve natural resources and improve the quality of life, many companies have turned to sustainable development whose primary objective is to ensure the sustainable use of natural resources at the national and international level.
