Abstract
U današnjem suvremenom svijetu prepunom konkurencije i brzorastućih industrija, važno je biti inovativan. Uvođenje inovacija je pitanje opstanka na tržištu, a vrijeme za inoviranje sve je kraće. Stoga, inovacije danas predstavljaju važan čimbenik koji osigurava kontinuiran rast i ostvarenje prihoda. Razvoj inovativnih turističkih atrakcija tako umanjuje mogućnost nekompetitivnosti neke destinacije ili turističke regije u usporedbi s konkurencijom. Turizam je doživio temeljnu promjenu u kojoj se... More nove atrakcije uspješno natječu s tradicionalnim, koje su većini slučajeva iscrpile postojeće resurse i potencijale za racionalizacijom. Dakle, turistička politika destinacija ili turističkih regija se treba temeljiti na razvoju inovativnih atrakcija kako bi se unaprijedila turistička ponuda. U doglednoj budućnosti smatra se da će atrakcije koje ne nude proizvode i usluge u skladu sa suvremenim trendovima te one koje ne zadovoljavaju emocionalne, socijalne i praktične potrebe postmodernih turista polako izblijedjeti s turističkog tržišta. Abstract (english)
Nowadays, when the business world is teeming with competitive and rapidly-growing industries, innovativeness is of crucial importance. If a company wants to maintain its market value and competition, it has to contribute original concepts and ideas to the market; however, time reserved for innovations steadily decreases. Therefore, innovations are both the source of profit and that which ensures the continuous growth of industries. Accordingly, the development of innovative tourist attractions... More ensures the competitiveness of certain tourist destinations or of an entire tourist region. Tourism has undergone a fundamental change which enabled new tourist attractions to compete with the older ones, which, in most of the cases, have spent all the resources available and have no potential for rationalization left. Hence the need to develop new and original attractions in order to improve tourist offers of certain destinations and regions. It seems that the tourist attractions that do not offer products and services which meet contemporary trends and those which cannot fulfill emotional, social and practical needs of postmodern tourists will slowly disappear from the tourist market in the near future.
