Abstract | Turistička motivacija predstavlja psihološki proces koji pojedinca potiče na putovanje, dok se odabir same destinacije temelji na njegovim interesima, odnosno turističkim motivima. Jedan od tih motiva može biti i sport, odnosno rekreacija, a turisti potaknuti tim motivima predstavljaju sportske turiste. Sportski motivi mogu biti različiti, pa se prema njima sportski turizam dijeli na manifestacije, aktivni odmor i nostalgični sportski turizam. Sportski turizam spada u selektivne oblike turizma jer privlači turiste specifičnih interesa. Kada je riječ o manifestacijskom sportskom turizmu, tu se ubrajaju događaji poput Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva, Super Bowla, NBA utakmica, Wings for life utrke i Olimpijskih igara. Aktivni odmor, za razliku od manifestacijskog, podrazumijeva aktivno sudjelovanje u sportskim sadržajima, a to može biti planinarenje, skijanje, igranje tenisa, golfa ili nekog drugog sporta. Posljednji oblik, nostalgični sportski turizam odnosi se na posjećivanje sportskih objekata i lokacija povezanih sa sportom i sportašima, poput Muzeja CR7 i Muzejsko memorijalnog centra Dražen Petrović. Ovaj je oblik turizma zastupljen i u Hrvatskoj i u svijetu, te donosi velike financijske, ali i promocijske koristi, posebno kad je riječ o sportskim događanjima. Osim ekonomskih, koristi od sportskog turizma dolaze i u obliku smanjenja sezonalnosti, veće održivosti, obogaćivanja ponude i poboljšanja uvjeta života lokalne zajednice i poticanja na zdraviji način života. Upravo bi se iz tih razloga trebalo više ulagati i fokusirati na sportsku ponudu turizma, ali i na promociju kroz sportska događanja, te sportaše i njihove uspjehe. |
Abstract (english) | Tourist motivation is a psychological process that encourages an individual to travel, while the choice of the destination itself is based on his interests, ie tourist motives. One of these motives can be sports or recreation, while tourists motivated by these motives are called sports tourists. Sports motives can be different, so according to them, sports tourism is divided into events, active holidays and nostalgic sports tourism. Sports tourism is a selective form of tourism because it attracts tourists of specific interests. When it comes to event sports tourism, these include events such as the World Cup, Super Bowl, NBA games, Wings for life races and the Olympics. Active vacation, unlike events, implies active participation in sports facilities, and it includes hiking, skiing, playing tennis, golf or some other sport. The last form, nostalgic sports tourism, refers to visiting sports facilities and locations related to sports and athletes, such as the CR7 Museum and the Dražen Petrović Museum Memorial Center. This form of tourism is present both in Croatia and in the world, and brings great financial and promotional benefits, especially when it comes to sporting events. In addition to economic, benefits from sports tourism come in the form of reduction of seasonality, greater sustainability, enriching the offer and improving the living conditions of the local community and encouraging a healthier lifestyle. It is for these reasons that more should be invested and focused on the sports offer of tourism, but also on promotion through sports events, as well as athletes and their successes. |
