Abstract Turizam je jedan od najbrže rastućih sektora na svijetu. Suvremeni trendovi nalažu kraće odmore u jednoj destinaciji, te preferiraju više atraktivnih destinacija u odabranoj zemlji odmora, ali i organizirana kružna putovanja.
Razlikujemo turizam prirodnih resursa i društvenih resursa: zdravstveni turizam, sportski turizam, nautički turizam, eko turizam, lov i ribolov, ruralni turizam, kulturni turizam, gastronomski turizam, turizam događaja, vjerski turizam, turizam na umjetno stvorenim atrakcijama.
Turisti današnjice tragaju za što kvalitetnijim odmorom, rekreacijom, zabavom i zdravljem, sve više sami istražuju i osmišljavaju putovanja te su u potrazi za nezagađenom atraktivnom prirodom koja nudi relaksaciju, zadovoljstvo, rekreaciju, zdravstvenu rehabilitaciju, umjetnost i tradiciju.
Poluotok Istra je zelena mediteranska oaza srcolikog oblika smještena u najzapadnijem dijelu Hrvatske. Prirodne ljepote i blaga klima zaslužni su što je ovo odredište od davnina omiljeno ljetovalište na Jadranu. Istra kao regija vrlo se dobro razvila posljednjih desetak godina. Zdravstveni turizam smatra se vrstom aktivnosti u kojoj bitno mjesto zauzima stručno i kontrolirano korištenje prirodnih ljekovitih činitelja i procedura fizikalne medicine, a sve u svrhu održanja i unapređenja fizičkog, psihičkog i duhovnog zdravlja turista, a u cilju poboljšanja kvalitete njihovog života. Na zdravstveni turizam danas otpada oko 15% ukupnog europskog međunarodnog turističkog prometa.
Abstract (english) Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world. Modern tourist looking for shorter vacations in one destination, and prefer more attractive destinations in the vacation country, but also organized cruises.
We differentiate two type of tourism: natural resources and social resources: health tourism, sports tourism, nautical tourism, eco tourism, hunting and fishing tourism, rural tourism, cultural tourism, gastronomic tourism, event tourism, religious tourism, tourism on artificially created attractions.
Today, tourists are looking for the best possible vacation, recreation, entertainment and health, exploring and designing trips by themselves and looking for unpolluted attractive nature that offers relaxation, pleasure, recreation, health rehabilitation, art and tradition.
The Istrian peninsula is a green mediterranean oasis located in the west part of Croatia. The natural beauty and mild climate are responsible for the fact that this destination has long been a favorite summer resort on the Adriatic Sea. Istria as a region has developed very well in the last ten years.
Health tourism is based on natural remedies and procedures of physical and rehabilitation medicine that are used to preserve and improve health and quality of life.
Health tourism is a complex tourism product with an annual growth of 15 on the Europe level.
