Today, the accounting profession occupies a very important place. Recording and then presenting business events is an important part of the accounting pro fession carried out by the competent (i.e. accountants). Accountants are descri bed as creators of values, those who achieve value creation, those who help maintain values and those who report on values. As the accounting profession developed over the years, the way the accounting profession operates has de veloped, which is additionally influenced by globalisation and increased market connections. Over the years, as the accounting profession grew, access to ac counting education also grew. Once the accounting profession could be occup ied by people who did not have the necessary qualifications to deal with accou nting, and today the way of doing business wants to be controlled as much as possible. In this regard, the issue of licensing for the accounting profession is attractive. With the introduction of the license required for the accounting profe ssion, it will be detailed who can continue his career in accounting. This paper investigates the “accounting profession in budgetary accounting” through ques tions raised in the survey, and analyses the respondents' answers in detail.
