Sažetak (engleski) | Being a human familiar with the main characteristics of the growth, development, the distinctive features and abilities of a child’s organism, the child developmental stages and the children they are dealing with is a main prerequisite for an educator to work with pre-school children. Each child experiences a specific motor movement in their own way and they should not be stopped and corrected along the way. Motor movements are also called the elementary moving forms because children master them first. Simultaneously with the process of growing up and development, elementary motor movements develop as well. Child should be able to acquire the elementary forms of movement by the age of four (walking, running, throwing, climbing, crawling, wriggling, rolling, etc.)
Neither one motor movement has the kind of power that the game has. Game is the most natural form of movement, and is as such characterized by the variety of the elementary moving forms. It is beneficial for all the organic systems, the development of anthropological features, functional abilities, motor system achievements, development of habits and attitude to work and it contributes to the emotional discharging of children. While playing child does not satisfy solely its need to move. The function of all the organs and organic functions is being improved, which makes its role in the growth and development of children bigger. |
