Internet of Things in medicine allows monitoring patients remotely and collecting data in real time. These medical devices are connected via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or some other technology through which they send data to the patient and the doctor who has insight into the patient's heart rate, blood glucose level, blood pressure and more. The aim of this final paper is to explain the term and importance of the Internet of Medical Things. In this regard, the relevant literature and examples of the Internet of Medical Things that are already used worldwide and in Croatia have been researched. The network architecture of the Internet of Medical Things, which is based on communication between the client and the server, has been specially elaborated, and the programming languages used in the implementation of the Internet of Medical Things have been described. The advantages and disadvantages and future trends of their development are listed. Ultimately, the results of the analysis in this paper contribute to a better understanding of the role and importance of the Internet of Medical Things.
