Abstract Glavni cilj ovog rada je analizirati teoriju upravljanja kulturnom baštinom u turističkim destinacijama te obraditi primjer dobre prakse turističke destinacije Bale. U prvom dijelu rada predstavljeni su problem i predmet istraživanja, ciljevi i doprinosi rada, te metode koje su korištene pri izradi rada. Zatim je objašnjen pojam kulturne baštine, te su analizirani čimbenici ključni za uspjeh kulturnog turizma destinacije. Analizirani su oblici materijalne i nematerijalne kulturne baštine kao glavni čimbenici uspjeha kulturnog turizma destinacije. Naglašena je važnost valorizacije i očuvanja kulturne baštine, što se postiže menadžmentom turističke destinacije, održivim upravljanjem kulturnim resursima i kulturnom baštinom.
Kako bi se istraživanje provelo, trebalo je teorijski analizirati određene pojmove. Teorijski su analizirani pojmovi o kulturi i kulturnom turizmu. Obrađuje se povijest kulturnog turizma od masovnog turizma do pojave selektivnih vrsta turizma, interakcija kulture i turizma kao i karakteristike ponude kulturnog turizma i značaj kulturne baštine za turizam. Nakon završenog teorijskog dijela, u petom poglavlju analizirani su čimbenici od utjecaja na kulturni turizam destinacije s posebnim naglaskom na projekt kulturne valorizacije mreže Austro Ugarskih vojnih utvrda na području Bala.
U skladu s rezultatima istraživanja prihvaćaju se sve hipoteze, što znači da je uloga menadžmenta destinacije i kulturnih resursa, uz koordiniranu potporu sektora kulture i sektora turizma, od ključne važnosti za daljnji razvitak kulturnog turizma u skladu s održivim načelima. Također kulturna baština Općine Bale prepoznata je kao glavni faktor privlačnosti dolaska u destinaciju i time pokretač u formiranju inovativnih turističkih proizvoda.
Abstract (english) The main aim of this graduation is to analyze the theory of cultural heritage management in tourist destinations and to elaborate an example of good practice of Bale tourist destination. The first part of the graduation presents the problem and the subject of research, goals and contributions of the work, and the methods used in the work. Then the concept of cultural heritage was explained, and factors that were critical to the success of cultural tourism destinations were analyzed. Analyzed forms of tangible and intangible cultural heritage as the main factors of the success of cultural tourism destinations.
The importance of valorization and preservation of cultural heritage is emphasized, which is achieved through the management of a tourist destination, sustainable management of cultural resources and cultural heritage. To carry out the research, we had to analyze certain terms theoretically. Theoretically, the concepts of culture and cultural tourism are analyzed. The history of cultural tourism ranges from mass tourism to the emergence of selective types of tourism, the interaction of culture and tourism, as well as the characteristics of the offer of cultural tourism and the importance of cultural heritage for tourism.
After completing the theoretical part, the fifth chapter analyzes the factors influencing the cultural tourism of the destination, with a special emphasis on the project of cultural valorisation of the Austro Hungarian Military Fortifications in the area of Bala. According to the results of the research all hypotheses are accepted, meaning that the role of destination management and cultural resources, with the coordinated support of the cultural sector and the tourism sector, is of crucial importance for the further development of cultural tourism in accordance with sustainable principles. Also, the cultural heritage of the Bale Municipality is recognized as a major factor in attracting the destination to the destination and this a driver in the formation of innovative tourism products.
