This paper presents the processing and control of products on the universal lathe machine of the Morando PA22 brand and measuring the rotation speed of the shrink head. The survey was conducted on a private lathe. Metal machining is briefly discussed, and the whole focus is then placed on machining, which describes all the machining processes, tools and measuring instruments used to process the product. The product made and then controlled on the lathe is a screw bolt for which stainless steel marking according to DIN standard W.1.4404 was used. In addition, the principle of operation of the universal turning machine is described and the calculation of the optimal parameters of the machine is mathematically presented. It then goes on to describe product processing, organization of work, preparation of tools and measuring instruments, and presentation of a workshop design for the selected product. Finally, the graphical description of the rotation speed measurement of the clamp head is explained with the contactless digital tachometer of the UNI-T mark UT372.
