The work focuses on risk assessment and compliance with legislation in the printing industry with the aim of reducing workplace hazards and improving worker health and safety. It consists of an introductory part in which the hypothesis of the work is set, the subject of the research is defined, the research problem is identified and the goals of the work are set. The methods of health research that will be applied are listed. In the second part of the paper, the legal regulations related to safety and health protection at the workplace in the printing industry are described in detail. It also provides an overview of the methods and tools used in the risk assessment process, as well as the risk management methods applicable in this industry. The third part of the paper is dedicated to the printing industry, where a description of the various segments is given, and a special emphasis is placed on the printing of labels as one of the specific activities in this sector. In the fourth part, a risk assessment is carried out for administrative tasks and workers at the printing press. The emphasis is on the identification of hazards and harms that are specific to these work positions, as well as on the adoption of measures to reduce risks and prevent injuries at work. The main results of the research are summarized in the conclusion. The importance of applying risk assessment and appropriate protective measures in the printing industry to ensure a safe working environment and protect workers' health is emphasized. The need for continuous monitoring and revision of applied measures is emphasized in order to ensure the sustainability of security practices in the printing industry. The work provides a deeper understanding of the importance of risk assessment and the application of appropriate protection measures in the printing industry, with the aim of creating a safe and healthy working environment for all workers.
